We will be exploring various painting styles and techniques, referencing artists, and looking at classical and modern qualities of art. Students will draw and paint from life and imagination. Students will be taught how to mix color, how to look at proportions and see light and shadow. Students will be shown distinctions specific to painting and to drawing. They will learn how to work in a compositional manner. This class meets once a week for 8 weeks.
All materials will be supplied for this class
A $20 registration fee will be applied to the total.
