Ceramic Techniques
Darren Corona
482.2 | Tues 6:00-9:00 PM | Room E
Begins September 21 | $339 | 10 Weeks

When leading classes Darren feels that Clay is a terrific medium for teaching because it’s a forgiving medium. A piece can be reworked multiple times until the artist is happy with the results. A beginner and a skilled artist can both come away with a feeling of satisfaction when working with clay.

Darren uses multiple techniques when creating pottery.  Using traditional hand gilding techniques, along with using no traditional firing techniques, such as, Raku and Pit firing, Darren blurs the line between functional and decorative pottery. This class meets once a week for 10 weeks.

Materials: You will need one block of firing clay. You can purchase at Art Lab on the first day for $24.46

A $20 registration fee will be applied to the total.
