Embark on an exciting journey into the world of comic book creation! This class covers all the essential skills needed to bring your stories and characters to life, including anatomy, perspective, character design and storytelling. You’ll learn how to draw dynamic figures with accurate proportions, craft expressive faces to convey emotion, and design memorable characters that captivate your audience.
As you work through the comic creation process, you’ll develop your narrative ideas into a comic of your own. From sketching out rough concepts to inking and refining final pages, you’ll gain hands-on experience in every step of production. Whether your goal is to create a personal project, build a portfolio, or simply explore a new art form, this class will provide the skills and inspiration to tell your story through comics.
Ages 9 through 12.
This class meets once a week for 9 weeks.
