Bio: Dennis Green, Fine Artist

Born in Philadelphia, raised in Buffalo, and a current “Native” New Yorker, Green’s study of Fine Art has taken him to SUNY Binghamton, The Boston Museum School, and Pratt Institute, where he received his MFA with the highest honors, summa cum laude.

He has been selected for many national and international Juried shows like Artlink National Juried Print Exhibition and Silvermine Guild Galleries National Print Biennial” National Juried Exhibition as well as major Galleries’ and Museums like Michael Inbar Gallery (NYC), Brooklyn Museum Community Gallery.

He was an active member of Bob Blackburn’s Printmaking Workshop, in the 80’s and 90’s. He received the Jerome Grant while there.

He has work in Blackburn’s PMW collection, and also in the Library of Congress Collection.

His works are published in Creative Inspiration, Best Acrylic Painting (Rock Port Publisher), also Published “In Formation Field A Student’s Guide to Intaglio Printmaking” from Boulevard Books.

He is currently teaching at 3 different local senior centers.

He now lives and works at his studio in Stapleton, Staten Island, NY.

For beginners and experienced printmakers, this course opens the printmaking world to unlimited expression. Monotype is an exciting and plastic medium; allowing the artist to immediately short circuit limitation and self doubt. It’s challenging and fun.
$20 Registration fee will be applied to the total.

Mono Print 1 plexi plate
Any oil colors
Black ink provided
Printmaking paper: Graphic Chemical Stonehenge
1-2  4 inch soft brayers
2- One inch taping  knife
linseed oil also necessary
