Color Theory: Painting Simple Still Lifes *NEW*
Annamarie Trombetta

122.2 | Tue, 3:00 – 6:00 PM | Room F
Began April 8 | $246 | 5 weeks

Each major and minor color in the color wheel will be scientifically analyzed and discussed.  Moreover the colors will be implemented by painting a simple still life painting.   Students, for example, will begin with the color yellow by painting a lemon, concentrating and learning the properties of the yellow family, noting if it is transparent–semitransparent or opaque, if it has a high or low tinting strength, if the hue has an undertone color etc.  Direct perception and, painting, and integrating scientific facts will enhance the technique to paint realistically.

This class meets once a week for 5 weeks.

A $20 registration fee will be applied to your total.
