Explore the basic techniques of painting with acrylics and oils in a stress free environment. Each student will be given individual attention regardless of their level – from someone who has never held a paintbrush to someone who has been painting for years, there is always something new to learn. See supply list below. This class will meet once a week for 10 weeks.
A $20 registration fee will be added to your total.
SUPPLY LIST:
Oil, or acrylic paints-
For beginners- A starter set of either oil or acrylic paints is fine (8 or more colors)
titanium white, ivory black, yellow ochre, burnt umber, raw umber, raw sienna, alizarin crimson, sap green, ultramarine blue, and cadmium red light
Brushes in different sizes (depending on which medium, watercolor, oil or acrylic)
Stretched canvas or canvas board in any size or pads (for oil and acrylic)
*Also, if possible, bring in references and/or ideas of what you would want to paint (landscape, portrait, still life, etc.)
