Painting the Figure *NEW*
Griselda Healy #128.3| Cost: $255

Monday, 11:00am-2:00pm|
Meets: February 6 ,13, 20, & 27

In this class, you will paint the figure in the same pose for each of the four sessions. Composition, form, anatomy, and proportion will be discussed as well as painting techniques of your chosen medium. Drawing supplies (paper pencils & eraser) are recommended should you wish to familiarize yourselves with the pose before attempting to start your painting.

It is recommended to use the first posing session drawing the figure and possibly completing a small color sketch before starting on the larger canvas. By completing preliminary works of the pose in the first session, the student will have the opportunity to work out the composition, the placement and proportions of the figure for the larger canvas.

*There is a 20 registration fee added to your total.
