Learn how the camera thinks and be prepared to capture shots without using “auto”. This class is for digital, and or film enthusiasts. Properly expose your images through exposure lessons, shooting, and in-class review. Includes discussions of camera settings, sensors, lenses, file formats. Shoot in different lighting, motion, indoor and outdoor scenes. Then, learn about developing B&W film, push processing, paper selection, and contrast control. These new classes are designed to keep you engaged in the latest photographic techniques, and will be taught as a series, which systematically broadens your photography skills with new challenges. Bring your digital or film camera and film, flash and manuals. For digital bring your laptop and a lightroom subscription. We will customize the class to your needs.
Students work on personal projects. Great for photographers who need darkroom time. Class meets once a week for 8 weeks.
$20 registration fee will be applied to total.
