In this class, teens will be able to build their own art portfolio to be high school or college ready. They will learn the ways to improve upon the fundamental skills of art as well as pursue their own creative interests. Through organizing works in proper professional formatting, students will have a clear understanding of what it takes to prepare for and be accepted into art school.

Supplies: Supplies are included in your class fees. However, if you have a sketch pad and drawing materials you may bring them to class. It will be helpful for the instructor to see your work.

With this class students will be able to begin, enhance, complete and professionally format their portfolio for high school or college entry levels. Students will have the opportunity to pursue their creative interest and learn ways to improve fundamental skills for image making. Bring your work, your materials and your ideas to the class. If you are not sure how to begin, bring some of your work for review or take some pictures on your phone and bring them to the class for review. We can then discuss and find the appropriate way to start or finish a project.

This class will meet once a week for 10 weeks.

A $20 Registration Fee will be added to your total.
