Making Comics Teens Fall 26/Sun

There’s a lot that goes into making comics – anatomy, character design, story structure, paneling, lettering, etc. This class aims to teach students all these aspects that make their favorite comics great, while giving them the opportunity to experiment and grow. Each week, students will be given a mini-assignment in the first half of class that focuses on an element of comic creation. The second half of class will give students the opportunity to incorporate those elements into an ongoing 2-3 page comic project, with the last few weeks of the class devoted exclusively to completing this project.
