Silent Auction
Untitled
by Norman Pate

This ink/brush drawing is by Norman Pate.
Norman Pate was a studio artist at Snug Harbor for decades, visitors could see Norman sitting on the bench passing the time of day with other Snug Harbor regulars. Norman was also a veteran from WWII.
When Norman passed away, his family donated the entire contents of his studio to Art Lab to use to support scholarships for children through teens to attend Art Lab. He always repeated Picasso’s quote- that we’re all artists until we are told we’re not. Norman felt children were the best artists, unencumbered by rules and “shoulds”- pure creativity and imagination!
This work is untitled and unsigned but will be accompanied by a letter from Art Lab regarding its provenance.
Minimum Bid is $300.
