This class is an invitation to express your inner grief outwardly through artmaking in a sacred studio space alongside fellow mourners. Using basic supplies like watercolor, color pencils, and collage, I will guide you through prompts to externalize your grief. Our goal isn’t perfection or making beautiful work, but purposeful mourning, utilizing color, texture, and movement to honor your experience. Whether it’s a diagnosis, death, relationship change, job loss, dream shift, home transition, or aging, all grievers are embraced. No art experience needed, just bring yourself and a willingness to explore painting, drawing, and collage for healing. Creatively expressing my losses and life transitions has been one of the most valuable experiences I’ve known, and I want to share its power with you. Through art-centered practices, we shift something inside, making space for grief to move. By mourning physically with our hands and hearts, we transform the weight of our emotions. Grant yourself permission to explore healing through artmaking, allowing yourself to live a life you love amidst the journey of loss. Join us on this transformative exploration of self-compassion and artful healing.

Disclaimer: Art.Heals.Grief gatherings complement professional care and provide support by integrating community and artmaking. It’s essential to prioritize therapy for deeper emotional needs. Seek local providers or contact crisis lines for immediate assistance.
