In this class the focus will be on portraiture. Explore the basic techniques of painting the face with acrylics and oils in a stress-free environment. Each student will receive individual attention, regardless of their skill level. From those who have never held a paintbrush to those who have been painting for years, there is always something new to learn. Please, bring pictures or ideas of what you might want to paint.
This class runs consecutively for 8 weeks.

SUPPLY LIST:
Oil, or acrylic paints-
For beginners- A starter set of either oil or acrylic paints is fine (8 or more colors)
titanium white, ivory black, yellow ochre, burnt umber, raw umber, raw sienna, alizarin crimson, sap green, ultramarine blue, and cadmium red light
Brushes in different sizes (depending on which medium, watercolor, oil or acrylic)
Stretched canvas or canvas board in any size or pads (for oil and acrylic)
*Also, if possible, bring in references for your portrait.
