Began October 3 | $236 | 6 weeks

The class will concentrate on observing and drawing different objects, creating the illusion of three-dimensional forms using paper and pencil. Value relationships, shape relationships, line quality and perspective will be demonstrated and discussed. These fundamental tools of design will strengthen your skills towards creating expansive space and strong three-dimensional forms in your compositions. For those students who are painters, this workshop will inform and strengthen your work. This is also an excellent class for young students working towards completing their portfolios. Beginners are welcome.

There she studied still-life and landscape painting with Paul Russotto before moving to Europe and later Canada, where she studied and worked primarily as a musician while never letting her painting work fall far from hand and mind. When Griselda returned to the USA in 1987, her focus moved primarily towards figure painting, sculpture, and drawing. She studied in NYC at the Art Students League with Harvey Dinnerstein and at the National Academy of Design with Mary Beth McKenzie.
