Robyn Tang
Robyn Tang is an artist, printmaker, bookbinder, and professional illustrator. She is trained in intaglio printmaking, relief printing, painting, and technical drawing.
Her work meditates on nostalgia and the passage of time, while engaging with universal symbols and archetypal forms that root us in the natural world. Inspired by illustrated natural histories, playing cards, and old theater bulletins, she is currently working on a series of prints and illustrated cards inspired by animals and nature.
In her teaching, she encourages flexibility and creative experimentation, guiding students to discover the ideas and narratives that drive their work. Focusing on process, exploration and problem-solving, she helps students develop the skills and confidence for self-directed practice.
