Collage: Process & Possibility
Vince Serecin

114.2 | Tue, 6:30 PM – 9:00 PM | Room A
Begins July 7 | $236 | 6 weeks

Let’s explore the art of collage together in a welcoming and supportive studio environment. This hands-on class is designed for beginners, returning creatives, and experienced artists alike — no prior art experience needed.

Using vintage papers, photographs, books, found materials, and everyday objects, students will create flat collages, altered books, accordion books, and small sculptural or boxed works while exploring techniques in layering, composition, texture, and storytelling. Alongside collage, the class may include playful additions such as simple printmaking, handmade marks, transfers, and drawing with bamboo pens.

Blending contemporary collage practices with historical inspiration, this course encourages experimentation, curiosity, and personal expression. Whether you are looking to begin a creative practice, reconnect with art-making, or expand an existing body of work, this class offers an open and encouraging place to explore.

This class meets once a week for 6 weeks.

A $20 Registration fee will be added on to your total.
