Making Comics- Fall 26/Sun *New*

There’s a lot that goes into making comics – anatomy, character design, story structure, paneling, lettering, etc. Whether you’ve always admired comics and wanted to make your own or you’ve been making comics for a while and want to sharpen some of these skills, this class gives you the opportunity to experiment and grow. Each week, students will be given a mini-assignment in the first half of class that focuses on an element of comic creation. The second half of class will give students the opportunity to incorporate those elements into an ongoing 4-5 page comic project, with the last few weeks of the class devoted exclusively to completing this project.
