They will learn, while having fun making art. Children will learn basic art principles and will be introduced to famous artists and their techniques. Children will be put into age groups of 6-8 and 9-12 if possible. Together we will explore:- the difference between grief and mourning
- memory and continuing bonds
- grief bursts and linking objects
- creative expression as a language for sorrow and love
- community witness and compassionate listening
- personal mourning practices for life beyond the workshop
