Learn to love the fluidity of this medium! Students will learn the four basic watercolor painting techniques: wet on dry, wet on wet, dry on wet, and dry on dry. Each student will enjoy making beautiful illustrations of their own imagination with these four basic watercolor techniques. Come with your ideas, be it still-life, landscape, abstraction, or figure. Bring reference images if you wish to paint from photographs. - Printmaking, What a Relief! Students will learn skills such as preparing materials, carving blocks, and printing methods, as well as working with multiple plates and reduction techniques.
