Students can paint in any medium such as oil, acrylic, and/or watercolor. Students will be shown how to set up still life objects and paint from life. However, students may come with preconceived ideas of how or what they would like to paint using a photograph as reference. Different approaches will be discussed, and techniques demonstrated, glazing, color washes, dry brush, color mixing, and color relationships to name a few. Compositional options will also be explored.
