Learn how to get your camera off automatic. Students will be taught about aperture, ISO, and shutter speed and how they all relate to getting the shot you desire. Properly expose your images through exposure lessons, shooting, and in-class review. Includes discussions of camera settings, sensors, lenses, and file formats. Students will learn to shoot in different lighting, objects in motion, indoor, and outdoor scenes. Various topics will be discussed about your digital camera, flash, manual settings, and editing.
There will be a $20 registration fee added to your total.

This class will explore the qualities that make oil painting unique, such as the ability of painting wet on wet, dry- brush, and the importance of the brush stroke; as well as explore various painting styles and techniques, referencing artists, and looking at classical and modern qualities of art. Students will paint from life and imagination, while learning the importance of observation. Students will be taught how to mix color, how to look at proportions and see light and shadow.
